Simulation techniques are applied for the evaluation of possible outcomes of an air defense combat. A duel between an attacking aircraft [A/C] that uses air-to-ground missiles and a ground battalion [GB] of anti-aircraft guided missiles is investigated .The simulation model considers all the possible outcomes of the engagement and adaptsthe case of A/C destruction as the main concern of the air defense [GB] unit. Large number of runs of the simulation model program using Monte-Carlo sampling techniques are carried out for the evaluation of performance. Results obtained from the model confirm the practical experience related to similar cases. The model can be adopted for different types of guided missiles according to their capabilities and used for experimentation, prediction and sensitivity analysis .
