Different holographic techniques have been demonstrated a successful solution for this problem, but their usefulness is limited in field conditions by the requirement of a separate coherent reference beam and perfect stability of the holographic recording apparatus. In this paper, an interferometric imaging technique that utilizes holographic optical elements (HOEs) as a diffraction grating is presented.
